Said Azzam Mohamad Rahim has been arrested on a criminal complaint and is in custody by the FBI.

Rahim is accused of supporting ISIS activities in statements he posted online as well as remarks he made to certain individuals. He is also accused of lying to federal law enforcement officers regarding his alleged support for ISIS during an investigation on terrorism on March 5 and now faces an indictment.

Rahim faces maximum statutory penalty for each count in the indictment, which means 8 years in federal prison, a period of supervised release and a $250,000 fine.
