“Court is back in session…SCOTUS that is!”

The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear 39 cases during its 2021 – 2022 term. SCOTUS began hearing cases on October 4th and Senior Associate, Ryne Sandel pulled together an informative and quick reference guide that provides a brief summary for a selection of the cases. The Supreme Court of the United States is the highest judicial body in the country and leads the judicial branch of the federal government. The court’s annual term always begins on the first Monday in October and ends on the first Monday in October the following year. The court usually releases the bulk of its decisions the following June.
