U.S. Supreme Court finds that Police Must Obtain A Warrant to Search Your Cellphone
This past June, the U.S. Supreme Court in Riley v. California, 134 S.Ct. 2473 held that law enforcement must obtain a warrant to search a person cellphone. This is an extremely important decision because it gives us hope that the 4th amendment against illegal search and seizure is still alive. I have attached the opinion for your reading.
